The simplest way to increase performance on your 50cc two-stroke bike is to replace the muffler assy with something called an expansion chamber. Its' an odd shaped cone like thing which "tunes' your exaust. There are many manufacturers that make these...just type in 'expansion chambers' then find one that matches your machine on a search. _____________________________________________________Rick........
Put a performance air filter on it,get lighter roller weights, also a CDI rev unlimiter, and upsize the main fuel jet in the carburator. Get a performance exhaust and you will reach speeds of 50+ MPH..This will also help uphills.....ENJOY!!! BEST ANSWER You could just gear up the transmission instead of buying so many parts. If its single spedd then you should put bigger cylinder in.
In the uk they are restricted to 31mph by law, but im sure you've had enough of hearing that. To derestrict it depends on the bike but usually there is a washer in the carb and exhaust that will need to be removed.
Experienced owners of Kymco 50cc scooters say that increasing the airflow by installing an air filter from Malossi will help it go a bit faster. Also, removing the exhaust and replacing it with a performance exhaust helps. Another possibility is exchanging the CDI unit for a power CDI unit to give it an increase in power. Unfortunately, many say that the work and expense of these changes don't make enough of a difference to make it worth it.Ê
There are performance kits for certain models of scooters on the internet. The quickest and easiest way to improve performance on a scooter is to replace the exhaust system/muffler. A performance muffler will free up air flow allowing your scooter to breathe better and will improve performance as well as gas mileage.
new exhaust, reeds, carbs, all about tuning.
loose weight =)
Get smaller profile tires for the back, It will wake the RPM's right up.
look for a cdi without a rev limiter.
Hey i put a 85cc upgrade kit in mine
Answeru can put in a big bore kit or a rocket key to make it faster NAAAAGGGHHTTTTTWhat you have to do is strap a rocket to your back and lean forward. BUT MAKE SURE YOU DONT TURN THE ENGINE ON!!!

An improved flow of air and fuel mix will make the scooter faster. You can do this with an aftermarket exhaust.
