Simply pray to the True GOD in heaven to reveal himself to you. Use His word The Bible as a road map and it will guide you to the true Christian faith.

All members believe the same teachings- Galatians 1:8-9

But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God's curse! 9 As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God's curse!

There are no divisions- 1 Corinthians 1:10

I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought.

They understand the "mystery" of GOD- Ephesians 3:4-6

In reading this, then, you will be able to understand my insight into the mystery of Christ, 5 which was not made known to people in other generations as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to God's holy apostles and prophets. 6 This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus.

They know GOD's will and teach it to others- Matthew 13:11 and 28:19-20a

He replied, "Because the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.

They understand Jesus and the Father's relationship- Matthew 11:27b

No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.

They understand the scriptures regarding Jesus- Luke 24:44-45

He said to them, "This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms." 45 Then he opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures.

They are identified by love- John 13:35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."

They are persecuted- Acts 28:22

But we want to hear what your views are, for we know that people everywhere are talking against this sect."

They are found world wide- Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations

They respect the bible as GOD's word- 2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,

What I am about to say I am sure there are many people who do not want to hear what I will say but hopefully it will cause discussion. What is the right religion for "me" I would way is the underlining question. Because what many people say is, "Well what is right for you is not right for me" One person may be much more comfortable being a Hindu than a Muslim. I do not deny that. However this may not be the question to ask. This question is very self-centered. This is a struggle that we ALL have and I struggle with that as well. The real question is not what I think but what does God think? We can all have opinions as to what religion I or you should have. We can say I like chocolate over strawberry milk or I prefer train travel over the airplane. However the question on religion is a whole different matter because it has eternal ramifications. You and I can make all sorts of decisions, postulations, and observances but the bottom line is what does God think? He is the one who will make the final decision about who gets to heaven not us. I could go on and say a lot more but lets leave it at that and see what responses we get, if any.

Answer

For one thing talk to people but most important choose the one you feel led to follow because at least for me God called me to go where I am and I haven't had any doubts, and if you're still not sure pray because God is listening because you are his Child and He loves you and has always and will always love you.

Yeah, this answer is basically telling you to be a christian. Because God loves you. You are his child.

I suggest taking those lovely online quizzes that ask you about what you believe and it matches you with a religion. Best of all it doesn't influence you indirectly to a certain religion.....*cough* first answer*cough*

Answer

One probable answer which will be given to you will be "The one you feel most comfortable with". Many preachers who preach on TV and on radio tell you what the Bible says you should do, and to go out and do likewise. This is good advice but the question one should ask is "What Church should I belong to?".

It is my belief that the right church for you is the one that is patterned upon the original church which Christ set up. One with Prophets and Apostles who have been called of God to administer the ordinances of the gospel in its fullness. Worthy men who hold the Royal Priesthood of God as did Aaron and Moses, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. If you are in any doubt why not read James Chap. 1 v 5-6. Put God to the test. You can join any religion, but finding the right church, now that is something different. All have some of the truth, but only one can have all of the truth.

It is the religion where you know without a shadow of a doubt that your sins are forgiven foreve and that you can know that if you die right now you will go go heaven to be with God forever.

Advice

My best advice is just to keep praising God and he will lead you where to go

Answer (from a Christian who used to be a Catholic):

No one can answer this for you. Read the Bible and ask the Lord. I now attend a non-denominational Christian Church. You have to decide for yourself. Pray and decide for yourself. Don't let others talk you into something. If you like where you are stay, if you don't ...

I asked God to real himself to me and I choose, with the help of the Holy Spirit.

you can know the right religion by first studying the religion.

P>

There are a few points that you must consider , and they can only be reasoned if you are honest with yourself , because the answers stem from yourself.

Firstly , do you know who you are ? As in your personality , your fears , your desires , your dreams ...

Secondly , once you've relatively decided who you are ! Then you can peruse through different religions & see which one suits you , which one helps you , which one is in line to your nature {a nature that after joining a religion could change}

Thirdly , be under no delusion , not all religions are the same , some have a financial incentive , networking , social climbing , as what some movie stars join , in order to further there careers , some are really political , and in the name of God expect there practitioners to lay down there lives , when really its man made politics and nothing to do with God , some are pacifist , vegetarian , meek , humble , inward focused , and call for discipline at all times .

Another reason why religion exists is because of a concept called "The after death experience" .As you journey through this physical life , and attend your religion , practise it out in society , you are less likely to make mistakes , ergo when you leave your physical body , you are rewarded with a pleasant after death experience , what some might call "heaven" , but of course if you make mistakes or commit to many wrong doings , then your after death experience could be one of punishment , though some religions don't believe in "eschatology" , they instead promote "Reincarnation".

so like remember , becoming a convert of any religion is a very serious commitment , for it is not only about yourself changing , your social life changing , its also about your soul !

It depends on if you have one or not. You either have a religion such as Christianity, Judaism, or you do not believe in any god or gods. My suggestion would be to extensively research all religions, and if you don't believe any of those, then you are an Atheist, but you may also be an Agnostic, which means that you don't believe in any god or gods, but you are not 100% sure of that. Make sure you evaluate all sides of religion before deciding if you are religious and what religion or none at all.

Everyone has an opinion. Others in your current religion will try to keep you. Everyone else will try to get you...

But I can only share my story, you have to decide for yourself. I am a Christian because I saw a real miracle. Not a trick or something on tv but something in front of my own eyes. This miracle was done in the name of Jesus Christ, I believe.

I asked Jesus to reveal himself to me, I received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit just like it talks about in Acts. I have been told by doctors I am a walking miracle, I should have died long ago from a birth defect. Not only was I born OK but I am still alive at 52. Praise Jesus.

So now I know why I am in the correct religion. But every single person has to make a decision what is right. Try doing what I did, shout out to the Lord and ask Him to reveal Himself to you.

If your religion tells you to kill someone in the name of their deity, it's definitely the wrong one.

No one can decide your religion for you, or much less point you in the right direction. Religion amongst other things is something you must find for yourself. There are people out in the world that will say, "this religion is right" but they are wrong, there is no wrong or right religion. It's only a matter of what you see as right or wrong. Asking what religion to choose is like asking what the next lotto numbers will be, no one knows for certain and nor will anyone know until the time has come, whether it be the apocalypse through scientific things, or the rapture. The point is no one can choose for you and no one can tell you whats right or wrong, don't take a shot in the dark like the lotto but go with what your heart, instincts and beliefs tell you.

There are are many different denominations in the world, but according to the Bible, "Thessalonians 5v23, which states, Spirit, Body and Soul be preserved blameless unto the coming of Christ". Those that can clearly outline the way, would I believe be the right one. If we follow man's rules then that is where the confusion comes from. But if you follow God's rules and believe that there is only one God. then to please him you worship him in the ways that you aught to.

Answer:

There is no right religion except in the minds of the followers of each religion. The problem arises when you put your eggs in one basket and follow one ot the other. Most gods are not tolerant of anyone who follows the wrong rules or worships the wrong gods. If there are no gods you waste your time equally by binding yourself to arbitrary rules when there was no need.

This is something you must decide after considering the pros and cons of all religions. This is what I found:

Most religions are trying to give some meaning to life on earth and explain what happens to a person after death. Most religions are people reaching out to find god(s). Their spirituality is based on things they do - meditation, chanting, prayer, self realization etc

However Christianity is the only 'religion' that says God is reaching out to you. For me Christianity answers the whats and whys about life and death. Read the Bible and if you are sincerely searching for God you will find Him.

You will know within your self what the truth is.

Like finding out your favorite flavor of ice cream, how you like your steaks cooked and which party you vote for you have to investigate the options, sample a bit and find the one that resonates with you. Like these other things your taste in religion can change with time and you may drift from one to another.

If you don't know I'd put you down as "agnostic" which basically means uncertain/undecided.

If you read the Bible you're probably Christian. If you go to Confession you're Catholic.

What is right to Freedom of religion?

Right to freedom of religion is that one is not bound by any kind of religion - he can follow any religion of his choice, even multiple religions, and change his religion whenever he wants, at his will. It also includes that one can popularize and make propaganda for his religion, unless and until it hurts another religion. Their is no religion which is main for the govt. and considered a national religion.

What religion should i be?

I think you can follow any religion because every religion teaches good values and lessons which are really helpful in life. According to me humanity is the best religion. <><> Think about your own morals and what you already know instinctively to be right and wrong, research a mob of religions (what they are meant to do, not what they actually do), and you tell me the only one which doesn't go against what you already know to be right. <><> If your question is what religion should you follow, then the answer is simply the one that demonstrates and consistently maintains truth, compassion, righteousness, respect and unprejudiced appreciation for all of God's creation. Another view: U said it, "be in" but not "be of"

What is the right religion to serve?

There is no right religion. You are the one who has to decide what you belive in. Anyone who belongs to one religon thinks that one is the right one. The right one is the one you belive in :D

How do you know whether your religion is the right one?

You can never know that your religion is right, in the sense of being a true religion. Many now say that there is no god - neither the Abrahamic God of Judaism, Christianity and Islam, nor the Brahma of Hinduism, and so on. So, for all believers, it is only a matter of faith whether their god or gods really exist. If you are comfortable with your religion and it provides you with guidance in life, then it is the right one for you. No more can be said.
