How do you know when a person is falling in love with you?

Instead of calling this 'falling in love', how about looking at how important the relationship is becoming to the other person. That is a clearer way to look at it.

From most indicative to least indicative, look at the following:

1. Inviting you to 'intimate' social events. For example, a wedding, a family members birthday, intimate friends bdays. On these occasions you will be seen as a couple. For most people this is an important step, so is indicative of how important you are to them. Their social reputations depend on them making good choices.

2. Planning future: Do they plan or try to make plans with you into the future? The further off into the future, the more indicative of how important the relationship is to them.

3. How frequently do they contact you/ spend time with you (e.g. 4 SMS, a phone call every day etc. and meeting 3 times a week is good indicator)

4. Telling you they love you. For many people this is a big deal, if they say it sincerely (and they have a sincere personality) then it is indicative of how they feel.

Don't look for 'falling in love', just look at how important the relationship is becoming to them - how much of their life is invested in it? what role it is taking in their life? How interconnected they are trying to make the relationship with the rest of their lives.
