The wattage depends on the size of the growing area. It also depends on whether HID is the main source of light or if it supplements sunlight. And it also depends on the types of plants. 150/175 watts if HID lights 2'x2' growing area, and HID and sun light 3'x3' 250 watts if HID 3'x3', HID and sun 4'x4' 400/430 watts if HID 4'x4', HID and sun 6'x6' 600 watts if HID 6'x6', HID and sun 8'x8' 1000 watts if HID 8'x8', HID and sun 10'x10'

Silverado heater contol bulbs?

In a 97-03, the bulbs are soldered into the circuit board of the heater controls. Remove the heater control assembly and disassemble it to the board. Desolder the bulbs and replace with new ones from either radio shack or corvetteradios.com. The bulbs are 12v but I don't know the wattage. CorvetteRadios has bulbs for the CD player as well which are similarly soldered into the circuit board on the face plate.

What is the value of resistor do you use in 2.5volts bulb with use 4 batteries with 1.5volts?

If your batteries were in series the total voltage would be 6 volts, and it the bulbs were in series you would need a resistor to keep them from burning out. In order to know how many ohms the resistor would need to be you would have to know the wattage of the bulbs, or the resistance of the bulbs. If you don't know the best thing to do is use a variable resistor. Then you can adjust it or the brightness that you want.

Can you plug in a 115 amp welder into a 110 volt outlet?

yes. 110,115,120,125 and even 130 volts are all in the same catagory. as power companies increased their output voltages through the years, 110 became 115, then 120, and so on. when buying light bulbs, look for the 130 volts on the bulbs data. not wattage, voltage. they will last far longer than 115,120 volts

Will a higher wattage hps bulb work in a ballast that came with a lower wattage bulb?

A higher wattage HPS bulb may work with a ballast that is rated for a lower wattage bulb , but may appear to be dim and will not produce the rated light output. It is best to match ballast and bulb accordingly.

Where can you find Bradford novelty company Christmas tree replacement parts?

If you are looking for replacement bulbs then the best place to start is at Lowes, Home Depot or any place that sells halogen bulbs. With the original packaging you should have a re-order form which tells you the size of the bulb that you are looking for. If not then examine the bulb to see if it has any marks to tell you what it is or just take it to the store. Most of the halogen bulbs are MR11 with a G4 base and you just need to know what volt and watt bulb you need. If you are having trouble finding it locally then use google.com or ebay.com to find vendors. I had no problems finding replacement bulbs.

Installing a 120volt appliance what breaker is needed at the electric box?

Need to know what the wattage or the amperage is of the appliance. The load amperage is what governs the wire size and the breaker to protect the circuit.

Two light bulbs are in series how much power is dissipated by each bulb?

this is not an easy question. Assuming these are incandescent lamps with tungsten filaments, we need to know the type and rating of the lamps (bulbs) and the voltage. Incandescent lamps are highly non-linear and vary greatly in resistance depending on temperature--at lower voltage, the temperature is lower and the resistance is less. The problem is finding the stable operating point at the lower voltage. Probably the easiest way to answer this is build the circuit and measure. As a general rule, if the two in series bulbs are equal wattage, each one will dissipate 1/3 of its rated wattage (at half voltage). So two 25W bulbs in series will each dissipate about 8W, or 16W total.

How many CFL bulbs can you use on a single pole dimmer?

The number of CFL bulbs that can be used on a single pole dimmer depends on the wattage of the bulbs and the maximum load capacity of the dimmer. Each dimmer has a specified maximum load capacity, usually measured in watts, which indicates the total wattage it can handle. To determine how many CFL bulbs can be used, divide the dimmer's maximum load capacity by the wattage of the CFL bulbs being used. Make sure not to exceed the dimmer's maximum load capacity to avoid potential overheating and damage.
