First of all, before your appendix ruptures, you'll get appendicitis. You will for sure know when you have it. It feels like someone is literally stabbing you over and over again and the pain gets sharper and sharper. eventually you won't be able to walk. also the pain starts in your bellybutton and moves over to the right abdomen area.

if you suspect you have appendicitis get to a hospital immediately. It's a quick thing and it could burst pretty quickly. I know some people who have their appendix rupture, and they say that the pain (again that's so intense that you can barely move) goes away. but then a few days later they get violently ill. This is because of a serious infection. If you have or had (recently) the symptoms of appendicitis, you should go to the hospital immediately.
