When you love someone how do you know if they love you as much as you love them?

Be close to her/him and you will know but it's not a guarantee however knowing that you love someone usually flows effortlessly from within without you trying to prove it.But above all when you love someone, you believe in that person.

If it's true love then it says it all in the eyes. There is a warmth of security and light of honesty in those eyes. They may put their arm around your waist, hold your hand and smile a wide grin when they look at you or introduce you to their friends. You just know! If he ignores you, doesn't keep dates, is arrogant, never introduces you to his friends or family and acts as if you aren't there ... get rid of this guy as he's not worth the air space.

Treat them with respect, do thoughtful things for them - the little things can mean so much, always be there for them when they need you - never turn your back on them, be honest with them, and keep lines of communication open at all times. As far as how do you know if they love you, hopefully they are doing some of the things mentioned above or something to show that they love you. As mentioned above, the eyes will sometimes tell you more than the person does. If someone loves you and you really look, you will see love in their eyes.

The key word in the question is "show". You can show someone that you love them by the way you treat them in private and in public. You show them with your actions, not your words. You show them respect when with friends or family, in the presence of strangers and when no one else is watching. Someone will know that you love them because you make them feel good about themself.
