How do you know if the bearing is bad or the rotors are loose?

If you have a bad rotor, when you turn a corner sharply it will make a humming noise kind of a wah wah wah (if you will). If you have it apart, the bearing would probably look visibly worn, rusty, dry, ground down etc. Hope this helped.
