Look at all the pulleys and you'll see one that isn't really connected to anything like the Power Steering unit, alternator, water pump or the engine. It's connected only to an "arm". This arm is spring loaded and is what provides the "tension" to the belt. If I recall, there's a nub that you can put an adjustable wrench on and use the wrench as "leverage" to swing the arm and release the tension. Then with your other hand, get the loosened belt off of the alternator pulley first (since it's a small pulley and it's right on top). Now you can release the arm since you have the belt started and the rest is elementary. Reinstall the same way...get it almost all the way on exept for on the alternater, pry the arm to give slack, slip over the alternator last and you're done. This belt is grooved with an exect number of grooves. This grooves match grooves on all the pulleys. Make sure the belt is lined up in all the grooves-especially the very bottom pulley...the crankshaft-it's the one most likely to be not quite on because it's hard to see while you're prying with the wrench.
It is quite easy to install the 1992 Chevy Lumina brake light switch. The brake light switch simply plugs in and out.
How do you convert the ac in a 1992 Chevy lumina
Put the new serpentine belt on to your 1992 Chevy Corsica pulleys. Push the tensioner pulley to the left to tighten the serpentine belt.
Remove the belt from your 1992 Chevy Lumina water pump. Remove the water pump return hose. Remove the water pump retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install your water pump.
Hopefully you mean a 1992 Lumina, and yes, most starters are standard.
Remove the positive cable from your 1992 Chevy Lumina battery. Remove the cables from the front of the starter. Remove the starter retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install your new starter.
there is no alternator on the 1992 Lumina its all electric, so there is no need for one.
The Chevy lumina does not have an inertia switch.
Remove the belt from your 1992 Chevy Lumina power steering pump. Remove the power steering pump hose. Remove the power steering pump retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new power steering pump.
