You'll need to partition the disk so that you can have space for both OS's. Then you'll need a bootloader, such as LILO (Linux Loader) or some other bootloader that lets you select the OS. Install whatever Windows OS you need into one partition while the other partition is disabled. Windows will take over every partition on the computer if it can. Then enable the other partition and load whatever OS you want. After that, install the bootloader. Recognize that if you're using Linux of almost any flavor LILO is already there. Good luck.

Windows XP boot disks can be purchased at a number of different online sites. Amazon and eBay, for example, sell these boot disks for affordable rates.

It is possible to install Linux on a Mac using Boot Camp but it can be messy. Option 1: If you have Windows installed is to use the Wubi installer (See links below) to install Linux from within Windows. Option 2: Use Boot Camp to create a Window partition. Boot from the Live CD, run Partition Editor, delete the Windows partition, Run the Installer and install into Free Space. Option 3: Ignore Boot Camp. Run directly from a LiveCD or USB stick. Option 4: Ignore Boot Camp. Run in Virtual Box.
