How do you increase the walkie talkie range I bought a toy one but it has only 50m range.I was adviced to buy a large arial but will it solve my problem?

remove the anttanna and replace it with a copper &SILVER WIRE by twisting both the wires together and then put back the anttanna in its orginal place and tape the wires wirhe the antenna leaving 2 cm pooping out
