∙ 11y agoTake a Category 5 Ethernet cable (Cat-5) or better (Cat-5e or Cat-6), plug it into the "input" port (usually marked "computer," "network," or some similar name), and plug the other end of the cable into the Ethernet port on the computer. Some devices may have Wi-Fi, in which case you can connect using the SSID and security key usually located on the back or bottom of the modem.
