All-remote starts come with instruction. Each one is different. Follow the instructions check twice before cutting or splicing any wires.

If you can get to the starter, you hook up one side of the switch to the terminal that goes to the battery and the other side of the switch to the small terminal marked with and "S". "S" is for starter. The other small terminal you leave alone. Applying power to this terminal will damage the starter.

Starter selenoid no good
With an installed Viper 160xv remote starter, the starter will work fine up to a distance of 100 feet or so, but not beyond. This is the limit for 160xv Viper remote.
The starter is stuck or apparently engaged, replace the starter to eliminate your problem.
