First, u need to get a cord that fits Your TV an your laptop. I used an HDMI cable. if you turn on ur laptop and put it to the right input (VGA) it may say no signal. All you have to do is select safe mode with networking on the laptop. The only bap problem about this is if you wanna listen to music yyou cant. Im currently trying to find that out.
You will usually need an S-video cable to connect the laptop to the television - the S-video output on your laptop to the S-video input on your television. This is not a cable that comes with every laptop. If you want sound, you will also need to make that connection - usually from the headphone jack on your computer to the stereo in on your television. For more detailed information, check the link below.
Wash your computer carefully using bleach and a wire brush to remove viruses. Rinse and repeat with the television, retaining half the water. Place your laptop on top of the television and strike it repeatedly with a three foot length of 2 x 4 (if you can't find 2 x 4 try updating Windows - if they tell you it is 7 they lie), then turn Bluetooth on and pair both devices. Voila!
Hope this helps,
M.
Depends on what kinds of cables the laptop/TV supports.
Usual ways would be: HDMI, DVI or VGA cables. (All of those, except HDMI, are video only though).
Sound would usually be with jack/mini-jack.
There is a few ways but i know only one way:
You will need:
a laptop
a tv
a hdmi lead (if you have a xbox you get one with it)
Now connect the hdmi lead into your computer and the other end in your tv.
Switch the channel to the hdmi (also known as source, you get ext1 ext2 hdmi)
Now its all done.
It depends on what ports are available on your computer and your TV. Most computers have HDMI, Display Port or Mini Display Port options. Check your computer manual or visually identify your ports, look at your TV's manual or visually look for ports, and then determine what cable you need. Generally, all you need to do is purchase the appropriate cable (HDMI or Display Port etc) and hook them up together. A little bit of adjustment might be necessary via your Monitor Settings on your computer.
Important note: older televisions often used VGA hookup but newer laptops are not putting VGA in as frequently so make sure your television might not be compatible with your computer's ports. Also, it's best to use HDMI or Display Port hookups because they can carry sound to your television and don't need extra cables for that purpose.
Generally, there is an S-video port on the laptop. Not all TVs, however, have S-video. In that case, either an RF modulator or an adapter that switches from S-video to composite is necessary.
Depending on the type of laptop port, the most viable option would be an HDMI connector.
use a vga lead but if you would like sound use a phono lead and plug the phono lead into the red and white components on your tv

how do l connect my laptop to my tv
No you cannot connect a TV to a laptop to use it as a charger or to gain electricity. The only thing that happens when you connect a Laptop to a TV is the TV copies what is happening on the laptop.
Connect the external TV tuner card to the laptop using a coaxial cable. Boot up the laptop, and then connect the external TV tuner to a USB port on the laptop. Install the software that goes with the external tuner and follow the prompts.
