Of course talk to your Dr. - you do not want to stop taking this medication all at once. It is recommended that taper off of it to have the least side effects as possible. Consider a taper of 5mg per week, and if that is too much - taper less than that.

Do not take the dose one day and stop the next, take it again another day and stop again - That will not work unless you are one of those lucky persons that have a great tolerance to side effects. The trick is getting your dose of Paroxetine down till 1/16 and keep it there for some time before quitting. Relax while you are doing it while assessing if you feel alright or not. Keep yourself active and busy and enjoy some good social parties or hang around with friends. It's vital to stay relaxed and motivated.
