You can't, nor should you.

Anger is a response to stress. There are many different levels: annoyance, irritation, frustration, anger, rage. As the stress increases or is not resolved, the level heightens. As the level goes up, so to does the reaction. Those of us who express our anger outwardly, may react stronger to more heightened anger.

It might seem that I try to blame the stressor. This is not the case. The one angered is the owner of the emotion. What he does with it is entirely on him.

The best advice I can give, is to let the anger release. Do it in the least destructive, least harmful way. That you are angry is no explanation for destruction of property or harm to another. Find an appropriate outlet.

Me? I write. If the stress is relatively mild and I catch it in time, I read.

You can do it in a lot of different ways, depending on how angry you are. You could tear a few sheets of blank paper, punch your pillow, or do a lot of different things like that. The best thing to do though, is give some time to relax and cool down. You might want to read a book, listen to music, or watch a movie or something. !! ;D
