Your orthodontist (the doctor for braces) will do it when the time is right to remove them. Dont take them off early - they might be horrible now but you will thank your parents in a few years when your not one of those people with bad teeth.

It depends what typ of braces you have. Plates and removable appliances usually just clip on to the teeth, while fixed braces are cemeted to the teeth or the roof of the mouth wherever the appliance is meant to go. With removable appliances you usually just clip them in and out with your tongue or if it's been recently adjusted with your fingers and fixed braces whatever they are the orthodentist will take them out when you got to the appointement to have them removed. Head gear usually goes in the metal caps on the back of your teeth. All my friends have them no matter what braces they have or have had. sources: I have had a plate removable appliances, and now have fixed braces ( traintracks) and also have headgear. Hope this helps. Sekhmet

Do you mean after you've had your braces off? When you get your braces taken off the dentist removes most off the glue. Sometimes there is still some left. You can either ask the dentist to remove the extra glue again, which he would probably be "too busy" to do. Or like me just take a pointy metal object and scrape it off. I think I used a pointy knife. Just be sure you scratch lightly and slowly and eventually it will come off.

Super glue should come off after a while of being on a wet surface. It will eventually wear out.

You need to visit your orthodontist who will use a specialist composite removal bur and handpiece to polish off any residual glue. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DO THIS YOURSELF AT HOME!

How do you take braces off?

YOU don't take them off. When your orthodontist thinks your teeth have become straight enough, he or she will use an instrument to pry them off, followed by sanding the glue off you teeth, and finally finishing off by polishing your teeth.

Can you harm your teeth if you take off your own braces?

You could potentially harm your teeth severely if you take your braces off yourself. To take them off, your orthodontist uses a special solvent on the glue that holds your braces on. If you don't have that solvent, taking your braces off can be very painful and damaging.

Why do some orthodontist file teeth after braces?

How do orthodontists take brace off?

They take the wire out that connects the brackets (square metal parts that are on each individual tooth). Then they pull the brackets off of each tooth, and scrape the glue off of the tooth that held the bracket on. They also pull the metal bands that wrap around your back teeth, and scrape the glue off of those teeth. When they have removed the braces and the glue, they will take a mold of your teeth, and use it to make a retainer so that your teeth will stay in the same positions your braces put them in. If you are worried about getting your own braces off, don't. It sounds painful, but it really doesn't hurt at all. But they all say that, and I'm scared! D:

How do they take braces off?

There are several ways the orthodontist may take the braces off: 1. If you have molar bands, they will first loosen these by using a small piece of equipment kind of like some pliers. They will then hold the band and wobble it up and down to loosen the glue. Next they will either take these off but just pulling them off, or they will leave them loose, and start poping off the brackets. this done in the same way, but they are much easier to get off, and make a "pop" sound when are snapped off. Then they will just take out the whole brace. Done, easy peasy. Or 2. They will do exactly the same thing, but take your wire out first, and take off each individual bracket. Hope this helps.

How do you get glue off of your teeth?

Artificial nails are typically applied with a cyano-acrylate adhesive. That can be dissolved with acetone (fingernail polish remover). You probably won't die from taking a cotton ball and acetone and cleaning your teeth. If you don't like the taste of acetone, you should take your teeth to a dentist and have the removal done professionally.
