What causes wind noise from front mirrors 03 Outback?

Hi, I have a 2000 Legacy Gt and I believe the mirror design is identical to Outback's. I had a terrible whistling noise on my passenger side. The culprit proved to be the little triangular rubber- metal part that the mirror is mounted to. It became to loose from use and was not sealing right. I paid around US$ 100 at the dealer. Hope this helps _Adam
