How do you make skins on The Sims 2 PC?

Use a p2p programme to search and download a zip file with loads of accessories, cloths an skins etc. Unzip and place in your support directory within the sims directory.

The downloaded items will be available in the game with an asterix visible.

Some items need an expansion pack to work and some need installing by double clicking

If its the sims 2 pets then all you have to do is go into the neighborhood screen. Once your there type in boolprop testingcheatsenabled true. Then go into the create a sim. Once your there type in a capital N and then randomize the sim and then you can change it. The N doesn't have to stay there (you can change it) but if you type a capital M then it takes it away.

If you type in the capital N like it says in the previous answer, it will give you custom skins like vampire, zombie and mannequin and it will also give some cool clothing and masks! Its really neat.

On The Sims 1 you can't get skins. But of you go to sims body shop you can just colour in a sims, but it takes a long time. If you are talking about sims 2, you can make your own on sims body shop using paint or you can probably download them.

To get those cool skins and a bunch of new outfits and hairs also just follow these instructions in order.

1.go to your neighborhood.

2.type in ctrl, shift, and c and hold them all at once.

3.then a cheat bar will appear at the top of the screen.

4.when you see the cheat bar type in

5.then go to "create a family"

6.when you get to create a family in the family last name bar type in "shift" "N"

7.Once you do that you will see at the top of the create a family screen "sims 2 is now in debugging mode"

8.the you can get all those cool hairs and outfits and alien skin and stuff.

9. BUT BE AWARE IF YOU TYPE SHIFT M IN THE CREAT A SIM AREA WHILE IN DEBUGGING MODE IT WILL AUTOMATICLY TURN OFF!!!

if its PC version, all you have to do is the following: 1.get the game running 2.go to the neighborhood you want (pleasantview, veronaville, & strangetown) NOTE: you cannot transfer your family to another nieghborhood once its made. 3.go to the square button that says "create a sim". and there you go. after that, i trust you would be able to find out how to do the rest, its pretty easy once you got all that done! ;)

If it has been extracted to the correct place (using something like winrar or winzip), it needs to be in the following Mydocuments>EAGames>Sims2>Downloads they will automatically show up in the game the next time you play.
