Here is my advice
Do your reaserch on boarding schools. Make a presentation on why you think boarding school is the best for you. Be prepared to anwer your parents questions and have information packets at hand . Contact the schools and see if they have any info packets , or can answer any of your questions. Make sure you cover the benefits of going , the reason why you want to go , where the school is , how much money it is, and different scholarships and financial aid available.

∙ 10y agoYou should tell them about all of the academic and extra-curricular opportunities available at the school, and you should show them that you are mature enough to live away from home. If they are concerned about the school being co-ed, you should explain all of the rules that keep boys and girls separated in the dorms, and you can give them the contact information for someone in the admissions office if they want more information.

∙ 10y agoI suggest showing them their website and pulling out a couple of topics that would interest them. These topics include educational opportunities, extra-curricular activities, and scholarship opportunities you can obtain for life after boarding school (college).
You should also be sure they check out the financial aid process. Some think boarding school is too expensive, but the return on investment is excellent. I recommend checking out the Baylor website. They provide a lot of great content and information that will help you as you talk to your parents.

There is no perfect formula to ensure your acceptance, and each of these components is taken into consideration when determining your admission decision.

∙ 11y agoWell, my parents are thinking the same thing. It's crazy how parents don't trust you as an individual to make your own choices and to be independent. First of all, don't cry or argue with your parents and say it's not fair, I don't want to go to boarding school, etc. You will just frustrate your parents even more and they will send you to boarding school even sooner than originally planned. The only way to get out of it is to follow your parent's expectations and basically to be on your best behavior possible and respect your parents at all times. Don't talk back to them even if they get you mad, just hold it all in, Don't let it all out. If they're arguing with you, don't say anything rude back to them. Just nod your head as if you understand, then you will make the situation a whole lot better and the fight will stop. Follow these rules and your parents might just see potential in you and you might not have to go to boarding school after all.

However, boarding schools offer more than just a way for parents to instill discipline in their children. The schools teach manners and etiquette to the children who attend them.There are boarding schools all across the United States. One boarding school that many students go to is the Crane Union School in Oregon. Students have to get up when the sun comes up, often before if it is in the summer. This school is a public boarding school. Most boarding schools are private. The school has many of the same family members working there and running different areas of the school. Meals are served during the day, and sports are offered through the year. Many of the students only have the friends they make while at the school because there is not a lot in the way of activities in the town. Students come from homes that work together and farm, take care of their own lives and basically lead a simple life. The school stays in contact with all of the parents of the children who attend.Students enjoy the one on one attention they get from their teachers and other staff. With the smaller class sizes, there are more opportunities for scholarships than at other schools. The students live together at the school the entire week. They are involved in sports, dance, leadership activities and career classes. Most of the students know everyone that attends the school. Students can rely on each other when they need someone to talk to or if they need help with homework. There are about 1500 students at the boarding school. There are cows and other farm animals near the school so that the students can help to take care of them. There is another boarding school like this in Oregon that students can attend.
