If the speedo is not working too, see the previous question. If not check for vacuum leaks; Check the hose from the pump to the servo(diaphragm) that pulls the throttle. Check the servo for leaks. ### (JH) The problem with the cruise control of the Volvo 940 is that the small wires inside the CC unit on the steringwheel are damaged. Repair is possible. Dismantel the CC unit from the steringwheel and replace the wires. (4 x 0.75 x 75 cm)

This light means that cruise control is on. Turn it off by sliding the switch on the left stalk in the way
