How do you fix it when the Nikon coolpix s202 says lens error when you try to turn it off?
You take out the battery, then put it back in....the lens will still be out but press the power button ( this turn on the camera again) then you press it again to turn it off

Answer . One suggestion: Have you tried removing the batteries for a minute or two and putting them back in? Sometimes turning off and on will not clear a problem. If you …remove the batteries altogether, it may. But if you replace them too fast , the circuits don't get erased. The same applies to many AC powered appliances (VCRs, DVDs, cable boxes and etc). Unplugging them from the wall will clear up things that the on/off switch does not. Not trying to talk down here. I just don't know what has been tried. That would be the first step. Otherwise, the troubleshooting section of the operators manual should say what can cause a system error. That might lead you to try something else.
Ipod not responding when I connect my ipod it says low battery when its charged and when i try to turn it on it shows the boot screen but then it turns off how do I fix this?
The computer must not be in sleep or hibernate mode for it to charge. The battery's memory may be broken, you may have charged it into a secondary USB port. I might suggest,… if you can charge it, to charge it FULLY and then let it run all the way out, so that the battery's memory detects its real battery life.

Lens errors are fairly common. Usually it's sand or grit interfering with the lens extension mechanism. Or the camera's been dropped with the lens extended. Or the camera has …been powered on, but the lens had been blocked preventing its extension. Or the battery ran down with the lens extended ... Also you can try twisting the camera lens clockwise gently and it will go down. Do not push it down or else you will break it. Then try turning it on. It might work. There are several things that you can do to try to correct it. These home fixes seem to work for less than 50% of the lens errors. If the camera is out of warranty, they're worth a try. Everytime you cut on your nikon Coolpix s210 it just says lens error what did you do and how in the world can you fix it?
Wat do you meen cut on? Who did wat? Take it to a camera repaer stoor.
The Grainy look of the picture is due to the setting called ISO (it's too high, just lower it and it should improve). If there is a lens error then I would have to say...do…n't jam or push the lens in. The lens turns like a screw so if you jam or push the lens you could ruin the threads within. Most times you would have to take the camera apart and clean it or set it back on it's track. I once read, try banging it on your palm when powered off.
Mine does that too!! And if it does, it will say batteryexhausted!!
When I try to save my Pokemon platinum it stops while saving and says save error I am afraid to turn the game off Can it be helped?

Lens will not open on nikon coolpix s3000 digital camera
The best advice is to take it to a reputable camera repair shop. It may be a small problem such as sand or dust sticking the lens, but then if you try to fix it yourself you c…ould break the camera increasing repair costs, at times, to be more expensive than a new camera in a similar range.
Pick up the lens, throw it in the trash, and go buy a new one.
The SD card has a small switch on the side. Simply flip that switch up or down.
Set the date before this.
