How do you download YouTube videos to and mp4?

what i want the answer 2 is how 2 get a video u like onto ur mp4 player, i am sick of ppl saying go 2 this site, while it's really a site that turns video 2 audio!!! i want 2 be able 2 download the video 2 my mp4 player 2 make it portable and watch it when i want!!!

then again this isn't either, i suppose none of us know lol also if you add up all of the numbers you typed as texting shorcuts you get 12, or 20 if you consider the 4 in mp4 player part of the count...

ok seriously i got so mad i ripped the paper out of an entire notebook and ended up having to clean it all up just from trying to download freaking charlie the unicorn on my mp4 because i can only find that file under movies, where i saved it, when i click delete, and i mean at least its there so im not deleting it but why the hell cant i watch it?!?!?!??!?!??!?!?!??!?!?!??!?!?!?!!!!!!!!!!!?????????!!!!!!!!!!???????????!!!!!!!!!!?????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

for downloading videos onto your iPod:

1) find the video on YouTube and copy the URL code on the side of the screen, underneath the description of the video.

2) go onto www.vixy.net and paste the URL code into the main bar.

3) press the drop down arrow below the main bar and change it to MP4 (for video

on iPod)

4) start the convertion. (*NOTE* it may take a while to convert the video

depending on the length of the video. a music video tends to only take 5 mins or

so.)

5) press download, this will probably take longer than the conversion itself or it

might download instantly. (save it where you want it to go (ex. my documents))

6) open up iTunes.

7) open up the movies folder on itunes.

8) drag (NOT copy and paste) the movie clip icon into your movie folder on itunes

(sometimes this doesnt work but most of the time it does, if it doesnt dunno what

to do)

*REMEMBER* when on vixy.net converting the video, it may come up with

"cannot resolve URL" or "is youtube down?", if this happens try again, if it

still doesnt work im not sure what to do.

Convert videos to mp4 format and saved them to mp4 player. Or are you trying to download videos off streaming sites, like youtube? Try using Ant Video Downloader ing getting the videos and savig it to your PC then convert them so you can play them on your mp4 player.

Download Dvdvideosoft. Add the Url of the YouTube Video and Paste it to DvdVideosoft. when you're done, go on My Documents, DvdVideoSoft, then the selected video. Then you can either Upload it to YouTube, or Convert it to an Mp4

1. Download the Video to your Computer
2. Download some Software which can Convert Video's to an P4 File
3. Use online downloader and convert them to mp4 with Handbrake if they are not MP4s originally.

Unfortunately YouTube does not allow a user to download videos. We may need to use some third party online/stand alone applications.
