Hi,
At First u need to check whether u're USB drive has the capacity on minimum 1 GB, because the operating itself will carry upto 680MB-700MB of space. So check it out that then restart u're system
Goto the BIOS in advanced tab enable the USB option.
Make the boot from other (in that select the boot from USB )
Then press F10 or whatever the required save button for your BIOS and press enter then it will automatically start loading u're operating system files.
Well first off you need a pen drive that has enough space to hold the entire install disk then you will need to set your bios to boot from whatever drive letter your pen drive will be plugged into. Double click on your my computer icon with your pen drive plugged in and check the drive letter it was assigned, that will be the letter you will have to change your boot up drive to in your bios. I would be sure to keep your CD drive as at least the second boot up drive just in case you run into any other problems.
I have personally never tried this and wouldn't recommend it because I am concerned that when you wipe the hard drive to install the new operating system you will most likely lose the driver that controls your usb ports and the pen drive wont work.
If at all possible i would use the CD to install your operating system!
Requirements:
*USB Flash Drive (Minimum 4GB)
*Windows 7 or Vista installation files.
Follow the below steps to create bootable Windows 7/Vista USB drive using which you can install Windows 7/Vista easily.
1. Plug-in your USB flash drive to USB port and move all the contents from USB drive to a safe location on your system.
2. Open Command Prompt with admin rights. Use any of the below methods to open Command Prompt with admin rights.
*Type cmd in Start menu search box and hit Ctrl+ Shift+ Enter.
Or
*Go to Start menu > All programs > Accessories, right click on Command Prompt and select Run as administrator.
3. You need to know about the USB drive a little bit. Type in the following commands in the command prompt:
First type DISKPART and hit enter.
Next type LIST DISK command and note down the Disk number (ex: Disk 1) of your USB flash drive
4. Next type all the below commands one by one. Here I assume that your disk drive no is "Disk 1".If you have Disk 2 as your USB flash drive then use Disk 2.Refer the above step to confirm it.
So below are the commands you need to type and execute one by one:
SELECT DISK 1
CLEAN
CREATE PARTITION PRIMARY
SELECT PARTITION 1
ACTIVE
FORMAT FS=NTFS
(Format process may take few seconds)
ASSIGN
EXIT
Don't close the command prompt as we need to execute one more command at the next step. Just minimize it.
5. Next insert your Windows7/Vista DVD into the optical drive and check the drive letter of the DVD drive. In this guide I will assume that your DVD drive letter is "D" and USB drive letter is "H" (open my computer to know about it).
6. Maximize the minimized Command Prompt in the 4th step.Type the following command now:
D:CD BOOT and hit enter.Where "D" is your DVD drive letter.
CD BOOT and hit enter to see the below message.
7. Type another command given below to update the USB drive with BOOTMGR compatible code.
BOOTSECT.EXE/NT60 H:
Where "H" is your USB drive letter. Once you enter the above command you will see the below message.
8. Copy your Windows 7/Vista DVD contents to the USB flash drive.
9. Your USB drive is ready to boot and install Windows 7/Vista. Only thing you need to change the boot priority at the BIOS to USB from the HDD or CD ROM drive. I won't explain it as it's just the matter the changing the boot priority or enabling the USB boot option in the BIOS.
Note: If you are not able to boot after following this guide means you haven't set the BIOS priority to USB. If you got any problem in following this guide feel free to ask questions by leaving comment.
by sticking it in your disk tray not ya but crack stupid
You can not download the IMVU client to a U3 Flash Drive.
Not all computers support booting from a USB Flash drive, and you cannot install Windows from a USB flash drive without extensive effort.
Yes by using a usb flash drive.
Yes.
yes
the only way to download it is through a CD, unless there is some weird CD drive with usb ports, that detects flash drive information.
You cannot download the Internet.
USB 2.0 drives will fall back to USB 1.1 speed if plugged into a USB 1.1 port. Windows 98 contains no driver for USB Flash drives by default, but a generic one can be installed. These will work with almost any drive, regardless of rated speed.
A USB flash drive is a temporary storage device. It has nothing to do with DOS or Windows. It is simply a device you can store data on. As long as you have a USB port you can save something to it no matter if it is DOS or windows. For instance, let's day you plug in your USB device and it shows up as d:drive. If you did the command copy funny.doc to d:. Then the file would be copied over to the USB flash drive.
You can only download the Windows Support Software via the Boot Camp Assistant. It is only accessible from that application. You have to have an external USB HD, Flash Drive or blank DVD to install it to.

It is possible to install Windows 8 using a USB flash drive with at least 4 GB of space. The process requires creating a Windows 8 ISO, or buying Windows 8 as an ISO, and adjusting the computer's BIOS to boot up from the USB drive rather than the hard drive.
