I'm not sure if a regular format would prevent un-erasing; a quick format certainly won't. But there are two other ways to go:
There are programs designed to thoroughly wipe data from a drive. For example, on Windows, there is a free program called Eraser which allows you to permanently delete specific files. There may be others. If you have a card reader connected to your PC, make sure to select only the SD drive.
A do-it-yourself version is to fill up the entire card with miscellaneous junk files and then delete them all, or reformat. That way, any photos are overwritten and attempts to un-erase won't bring up anything of use. Analyzing the physical card might still bring them back following this path, though.
Well if you have a camera with an SD slot, then you can delete them on your camera. If not, then you need a computer/laptop that has an SD slot, and your SD card should come up. If it doesn't, then go to 'My Computer' and it will be there under 'Devices With Removable Storage.' Hope I helped!
You can use an SD slot on your computer or USB card reader. Pick up the device in your hard drive/memory area, interrogate the card and delete individual files or format it.
In MS Windows. Click 'start' , 'My Computer'. Identify your card icon. Right click on it and select 'format' from the choice bar.
The device that uses an SD card, usually have a function for deleting files or formatting.
Press delete
No.
Yes, But you must Format the memory card. You can do this by inserting it in the PSP then go to Settings/ System Settings/ Format Memory Stick This will delete everything on the memory card and make folders for the PSP. Basically it formats it so that the PSP knows where everything is such as MUSIC, VIDEOS, or PICTURES. Again it will work at no risk. But I'm warning you it will delete everything on the memory card so if it's your camera's memory card you might want to transfer the Files to another storage device or computer.
No you do not you already have lots of memory you can take 444 or something like that photos before you need a Sd card
No. A SD memory card is 32 × 24 × 2.1 mm. A micro SD card is 15 × 11 × 0.7 mm. You can access a micro SD card in a SD card slot if you have an adapter, the are usually sold with them in the packaging.
Getting a USB memory card can prevent unwanted writes. This can go for a USB memory card, micro SD and a standard SD memory card.
Because most SD cards are flash memory it will very depending on how often you use it. If you fill it up every day delete and re-fill the memory it will begin to weaken leaving you with less and less memory. Often an SD card can last for a few years before this happens though.
Yes for the majority a memory card reader can read an SD card. An SD card is actually one of the most popular memory cards available right now.
