how to deal with death
It's hard-I am going to start with that. I lost my mother a few years ago, so you are not alone. First thing's first, you will never fully get over it. Sad as it may seem, it's true. However, you can deal with it. Remind yourself that your father would have wanted you to be happy and keep on living your life. When you die, would you want your kids to stop their lives because they feel nothing is worth living for? My guess is no. Also, crying helps. I don't know how long ago your dad passed away, but time heals everything. The only thing to remember is not to forget-reflect back on the happy memories once and a while.
Allow yourself to think about him and cry as much as you like. Grief is a process, and it takes up to two years to complete it. Don't let people tell you to be brave. That's not what grieving is about. There may be grief groups in your area where you can receive some help and support. Call your local hospice for starters, or your mental health association.
Grieving is necessary and normal. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
you don't get over it.

"Papa", as in father or dad. If you are leaving it as it is, that is the correct spelling.
She never really recovered and was in constant fear of being left by others (e.g. family and friends). However, in 1964 she met up with her father in Dublin, Ireland, and once she discovered that he was an emotionally scarred man, she made peace with his leaving her :)

There are several ways in which you can irritate your dad, such as constantly repeating a word over and over again. However, irritating your parents is not advisable.
