For 3d generation, I reccommend Revit or ArchiCadd. Its the easier to use than Autocadd for 3d generation. In revit or Archicadd, 3d generation is automatic as you make your plans.
CAD means computer-aided design. 3D CAD is often used by architectural and construction companies. CAD is a software used by building companies and professionals to render their drawings and sketches.
Catia, Unigraphics, Pro-e, Visi CAD, Inventor....... SolidWorks 3D CAD Software.
The purpose of 3d cad software programs is for computer drawing, 3D modelling and realistic creation. You can read about this program at www.freebyte.com/cad/cad.htm
CAD programs, Eletronic circuit board design programs, 3D modelling programs.
C.A.D -- Computer Aided Design. A CAD system can be used to create diagrams for an item that is going to manufactured. The designs can than be changed into a program for a CNC machine to run from to manufacture a product. CAD helps manufactours produce design products at a quicker rate and at higher standard. CAD is used by architects to create floor plans which are in turn used by engineers to create construction drawings for electrical power, mechanical HVAC and structural steel. These drawings are used by construction companies that do the actual building construction.
What is modeling? Explain about 2D model and 3D model approach in Auto Cad.
This depends on the type of CAD (2D or 3D) - and how you count the seats and maintenance payments... but the big players are: Autocad by Autodesk - best-selling 2D CAD package, used all over the world in most industries Pro/E by PTC - popular 3D CAD package Solidworks - fast-growing 3D CAD package CATIA, Unigraphics, Inventor, SolidEdge and others are also available
Mainly types of CAD are 2-Dimensional and 3-Dimensional On the basis of CAD fields there are different types like Civil CAD, Electrical CAD, Mechanical CAD, Interior CAD, Architecture CAD etc. For more details, visit : https://engineerscadstudio.com/course.html
cad is a 2d drawing then use cam the laser cutter and turn it into a 3d model
cad
There are numerous ways.. There is a solid tool bar in tool bar list from there you can deriectly create 3d objects or you can extrude the 2 d drawing, more over ther are some other ways for which you need a instructor. It will take me too long to exlain the procedure
Three Dimensional Modeling: Creating 3D models manually is a very difficult and tiresome job. 3D CAD packages have many more powerful features for creating the 3D models easily.Easy to Modify: Modifying the CAD geometry is easy; you will always have "copy", "cut", "paste", "delete", "move" or some similar editing options available with each of the packages.Easy to Reproduce: Draftsmen used to take days to complete a drawing by manual drafting, and reproducing the drawing meant recreating the drawing from the beginning. But, in case of the CAD, you can reproduce the drawing in no time and make as many copies as you want.Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM): The 3D CAD geometry is used as input for the CAM packages for generating NC codes. The manual drawings cannot be used for CAM packages.Computer Aided Engineering (CAE): The 3D CAD geometry is used as input for the CAE packages. The CAE packages can simulate the loading conditions and tell whether the CAD geometry can withstand the real loading or not. The drawings created manually cannot be used for CAE.Simulation of the Mechanisms: The 3D CAD geometry can be used for simulating the mechanism, thus you can check the functionality of a machine without investing in prototype building. Manual drawings cannot be used for mechanism simulation.Database Creation: The CAD files can be used to create a PDM/PLM database. Once created, the CAD database can be accessed through a wide area network. The drawings created by manual drafting can only be stored locally.Logical: CAD models or geometry entities are logically connected, or in other words you cannot create a CAD model which is not possible practically. The drawings created by the manual drafting method do not have such checks, and you can create anything.Environment Friendly: Manual drawings are necessarily created on paper, but the CAD drawings can be stored and used electronically without using paper.Access Control: Some of the drawings and design documents are very crucial for a company's business, and such drawings should not be accessible to all. Providing access controls of such drawings are easy for the CAD drawings, and the access level can be defined for each CAD drawings. Strict access control and maintaining confidentiality is difficult for the manual drawings.
