The best way would be through a HDMI to HDMI cable. These are fairly common and your TV probably has a HDMI input. Your DVD player might not though. You can also use a S-Video cable however some TV don't have options for this. Another thing you can use is is an AV plug. These are the yellow, white, and red cables.
There are two likely connections available.
First, you can use analog composite connections, normally using red, white and yellow RCA leads.
Second, HDMI connections are on most DVD players so an HDMI lead will work. Bear in mind that although HDMI can carry HD signals, using it does not create an HD image from a standard DVD player.

The samsung V9800 unfortunately doesn't come with a digital tuner, but your TV may have one in it.
Any reputable combo player will be able to hook up to an HD TV.
All you need is a HDMI 1.3 Audio/Video cable to hook up your Blu-Ray player to your TV.
Here are some codes you can try for the Samsung DVD player: 881, 755, 738, 517, 579, or 591. If you need further assistance, please let me know. Thanks.
You have to buy a box that converts the signal from the DVD player into an RF signal. These can be found in the electronics department of most stores, or at Radio Shack.
The Hannspree 10-Inch MLB White Sox LCD Television comes with a remote control, it does not have a dvd player built in but it has an A/V input that will allow you to hook one up.
That would depend on the ports available on your TV, and DVD player which would determine if you are even able to do so.
