It depends on what format you are using, Purdue Owl (http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/) provides extensive explanations on formatting in MLA, APA, and Chicago format.

While manually citing your sources is the most accurate method, it is widely acceptable to use an autociting service such as:

searchcited.com, easybib.com, noodletools.com, and more.

Oh, and don't forget your in-text citations, those also vary from format to format.

There is actually a really good website that will cite your sources for you if you provide the information. The link is:

http://citationmachine.net

It will properly cite whatever you need in whatever format (ie. MLA, APA) Also, if you want to cite a book and you know the ISBN, all you have to do is type it in the appropriate section, and the website will fill in the rest of the information (ie. author(s), publisher(s), dates )

First, you have to make sure you put it in quotations. Then, cite it the way you would for any other information, except in front of the nomal citation, type "quoted in"

Example:

"Type quote here...blah, blah, blah." (quoted in "Personal Rights Issue" 7)

For in text: The author or authors must be listed along with the year. If it is a direct quote, the page or pages number(s) are required also. See the related link. For the Reference page, depending on where the article is obtained from, follow the related link guidelines.

An Article from an Online - only Journal (APA, 2001, p 275)

Finders, M.J. (2001). Angel and me: Knowing your place within literacy learning. Willa
(Women in Literacy and Life Assembly) 10, Article I. Retrieved January 6, 2003, from http://scholar.lib.vt.edu/ejournals/WILLA/fall01/finders.html

Remember, the link indicated must take the reader directly to the article. If you were to copy and paste the above link, that is what it will do. In addition, when using an online source, the last thing is that link, and it is always stated Retrieved..... date.....etc. One last recommendation. Looking at the way you spelled internet in your question, remember Internet is always capitalized. I already corrected it.

You put quotation marks around the quote, and then put the article it was in, the page, and the author.
