To access the driver's side tail light, open the tailgate. There are two torque head screws that hold the bulb housing in place. These screws can be removed by reaching a regular length torque screw driver through the hinge area. After the screws are removed, simply pry the housing loose. The bulbs are removed by turning the bulb sockets 90* left and then pull out.
I have replaced only the driver's side light housing, so I'm not sure how to access the passenger side light housing. It should be similar.
