because of the format. songs are digitally compressed and since they are so small, they fit into the MP3 format. videos, however, are so much larger than music files, they are saved into a special video format called MP4 or MP5. only players that are capbable of playing mp4 or higher formats can play the videos

Some sizes are not compatible. You would have to check and see if the jack is large or small enough to fit into your kindle for charging, be advised you may damage your kindle and adapter if trying to make it work
The amount of files you can burn to DVD is not calculated in numbers. Rather, it is the file(s) format and length that dictate the capacity on the DVD. The best thing to do is open your DVD burning software, browse and add the wmv files you wish to use. Take note of the Quality and Capacity notification bar on the bottom of the program screen. It tells you how much space is remaining on the DVD as you add more files.
To play in most CD players, the CD itself must have a specific format. In general, you can't burn individual files onto a data CD and expect it to work, regardless of what format the files themselves are in. Most CD burning programs offer "audio CD" as an option and will do whatever conversion is required for you. Some CD players can play MP3 files from a data CD. This allows you to fit a lot more music onto the disc, but not all CD players can read data CDs. Check your instruction manual to be sure (also, those that can usually say "MP3" somewhere on the player itself).
I don't think so myself. The iPad is a little bit bigger. However, Amazon does sell Kindle cases. If you want one, go look at Amazon.
