Magearna cannot be found as a wild Pokemon encounter in-game however the official U.S. and U.K. Pokemon sites had posted a QR code image to their websites in December of 2016 that you could use the in-game scanner to scan after you have become the Champion and then Magearna will be available to pick up from delivery man that is by the antique shop in the mall in the Hau'oli City shopping district.
