The average menstrual cycle is 28 days, but everyone can be different.

You count from day one of your period up until your next period, this is one cycle - figure out the average of your last six cycle to give you an idea of your average cycle length, anything within a week of that is considered to be normal. You can use period tracking apps to work this out for you.

You may also want to try using Fertility Awareness Method, this allows you to track your cycle on a daily basis so you know exactly when your period is going to start.

When the next period comes mark the day with the first colour. You should find that your period comes around the same day each month. You'll very quickly learn exactly when your due, unless your periods are irregular.
Cycles vary from woman to woman. For most its a 28 day cycle but can range upto 35 days. But just do what the above answer has suggested because this is the right way to do it. It will take atleast 3 to 4 months before you actually see a regular patten. Unless of course your period is irregular.
