Using various mathematical formulas such as a 45 degree offset would be 1.4142Then there is 90 DEG, 60 Deg, 45 Deg, 22.5 Deg 11 1/4 DEG1/4 bend 1/8 Bend 1/16 Bend 1/32 Bend and then once yo know the angle you want then do the math

depends on which kind of pipe it is. copper is normally bend using a pibe bender, you can get it at most hardware stores.. if its a steel pipe for water and so on, you can fill it with sand, and close the ends, then you can heat the area you want to bend with a blowtorch till its glowing red and bend it easily. the sand does that the pipe doesnt collapse or get to deform for the water to flow through.

What is the formula for computing the surface area of a pipe elbow?

Calculate as you would the surface of a cylinder who's height is the length of the central line of the pipe bend.(2*π*r*h)where:r is the (external) radius of the pipeπ is the constant 3.14159... andh is the length of the cylinder or the center-line of the pipe bend

What is 5D in bend pipe?

The RADIUS of a 5D pipe bend is actually what is 5 times the nominal diameter. So if you had a 10" diameter pipe, the radius of the centerline of the bend would be 50 inches.

How do you do miter bend?

Where it is not possible to bend a pipe due to lack of equipments or the thickness of the pipe, the miter bend is made by cutting the pipes at desired angles.

How do you calculate the volume of oil in a pipeline?

If we assume that the pipe is completely full of oil, it would just be the volume of the pipe = pi * r2 * l, where pi = 3.14159, r = radius, and l = length of the pipe. If the pipe is not full, then multiply the volume by the percentage of oil in the pipe. For example, if 50% full, then multiply by .5. If the pipe bends, take into account the different volume of the bend. If the bend is 90 degrees, this can be accomplished by taking the average length of the two bent segments for the length.

How can you victually a 3D pipe bend?

You can virtually a 3D pipe bend by using a bend machine. This is can create a lot of different single and multiple bends making the pieces form into shapes.
