How do you get the grox in spore?

Yes you can. It's really hard though. Do as many missions as possible, use an embassy on a planet, make a trade route, give them lots of money, buy things from them, use planet busters on non- grox planets and don't do anything to make them made!

It should be noted that allying with the Grox will cause all other empires to decare war on you unless you were very good allys, in which case you will just lose the alliance and trade route.

it's a lot easier to be a zealot and use their specal powers near the grox and the then if youl luky you might get them real easy (ps it worked for me)

Edit: however many missions you do, you will get 50 points only, and no more. trade route will be available later when you have blue smiley face as the relationship status. Giving them money will give 10 points only. You can't trade with the Grox, unless there is a bug. Breaking galactic codes will give +50 relationship bonus. It includes planet buster, and special power of zealot or scientist.

they are towards the center of the galaxy guarding the galactic core. i don't know any way to befriend them so you will have to fight them unless you are clever enough to please them (if its possible). they always colonize terrascore 0 planets. i tried improving their planets and placing embassies but they hate that so dont try it before taking them on i suggest getting max health and all the weapons from a satisfied spore gamer

The Grox are located near the center of the galaxy, and you will need a ship that's level 4-5 overall, in all categories of gear. If you can afford a planet buster, get it. It'll increase relationships with The Grox so that they don't shoot you. If you really want to get in contact with them, do as many missions as possible for them, and give them gifts of the highest number constantly. Use your Happy Ray and Fireworks on their cities if you have those, too. Eventually you should be allied. You can now meet them in peace, as you have grown a strong bond between them and you. Not only this, but you can now travel to the center of the Galaxy, which earns you the "42" Achievement.

I've made a few files and I'm friendly with the Grox in one of them. Basically there's a few things you have to do.

1. Have no allied spaceships as they will attack the Grox ships (Grox will attack you until you ally)

2. Turn off any auto blasters (if you have one)

3. Gifts help very little but if you're real close they help

4. Do missions - lots of em. However, do not accept the quests that require you to retrieve an artifact as these are traps. When you take the artifact from a Grox planet, they will say you stole it from you and instantly war with you. If you don't complete the quest, they will still war with you because you didn't finish the quest. Any other quest types will work.

5. Use planet busters on nearby NON-GROX planets. I've heard you need at least 8 of them to get the max +50 happiness from them. Also called "Breaking Galactic Code"

6. Once you get into the blue face (happy) start a trade route and basically wait it out. I started two at once and the Grox were green (able to ally).

7. Congratulations, you have Allied with the Grox

WARNING- allying the Grox causes you to go to war with every other empire in the galaxy so ally at your own risk. Also, you cannot trade with the Grox. You can send the Grox to attack local empires and they'll annihilate them.

Note: When you ally the Grox you get a hidden achievement called "Dancing with the Devil." Kinda cool huh?

It's a little complicated, but you copy it to your desktop and image file. Then, in-game , drag the file onto your spore creator, and BAM Grox. The only flaw is that you cant share it.

once you have made friends with the disired race try make friends again, and if u succed they will be added to ur pack.
