You can get a gold robotics badge by continuing to work on the robotics station that you bought for your Sim from the Buy Mode. Be patient as it takes lots of time to build these talent badges. It would also help you to build it slightly faster if you have a better skill level in skills that are related to robotics, such as Mechanical and Cleaning.

∙ 14y agohhhhhhhhhhhhh hi i am improving the question cuz i don't understand the above answer k? the only way to get gold badges is 2 work hard on that talent take fishing for example (u can only fish with the seasons ep) if u make ur sim fish for lllloooooooonnnnnggggg (long) time they will get a bronze badge then sliver the gold! on business u get them in businessy type ones like using cash registers and restocking u just have to keep doing that talent like keep working at the cash register or restocking items it is better in ur business (oh yh u have 2 have a business i think) it better not the hire to many employees cuz then u can work on ur talent badges not them (employees) okkkk that went on a bit but i hope it helped!

Sims cannot 'become' a robot but they can make playable ones called a 'Servo'. To make a Servo robot, you will need the expansion pack 'Open For Business'. Once you get it, you will need to buy a robot crafting station from the buy catalog (Hobbies >> Miscellaneous). Then get your sim to keep making different robots until you get a gold robotics badge (You will get the badge faster if your sim has a high mechanical skill level). Then, there will be an option on the robot station to make a Servo. Your servo will be playable and have most of the normal functions of a sim.

ya. you put in boolprop testingcheatsenabled true. then you hold down the shift button and click on any sim and something with the word badge will be on the menu. click that and a sailboat will apear at your sims feet. click the sailboat and choose the badge you want. you now have that badge. and yes it works for fishing and gardening.
