For a home router, just type in 'http://' plus the IP address in the browser's address bar.
Example: http://192.168.1.1

The default IP address and the default username/password varies with the make and model of the router, see related link for a list.

For a business router, check the operating manual.

For that you need to know your wireless router IP address. If you know it, open any web browser and type the IP address in the web address field. It will bring you to the router's log in page. You need to know user name as well as user's password. Type correct data, and you will see what you are looking for.

PS: Default IP addresses are 192.168.0.1, 192.168.1.1, 192.168.11.1. Default user names and passwords, root and 1234, root 0000, admin admin and so on.

How can you access a router switch?

You can access your router using the default IP address it's usually 192.168.1.1 - It might be different depending on the router you have. Read the documentation and use the Installation Disk they provided with your product. It has step by step directions, you can also look for a sticker on the back of you router sometimes it has the IP right on there. Hope this helps
