My definition of rebuilding a cylinder head would include regrinding or replacing the valves, seats, guides, springs, locks, retainers, and seals. It should also include resurfacing the head gasket mating surface.
These tasks require special equipment that is usually available at a quality auto parts store.

if your caprice has a 305 or 350 already there shouldn't be a problem. otherwise new or custom motor mounts will be needed, also a tranny to match up to the 350 from the camaro
yes depending if your going to keep the original trans in it you might blow out your transmition and replace the motor mounts
The 83 Chevy C10 comes with a 305 but not a 350. The 350 is an option on the 3/4 ton but not the 1/2 ton.
