1. Put the front of the car on jack stands with the wheels straight ahead.
2. Make sure the steering wheel is locked because if it isn't could damage air bag system.
3. Remove the splash shield from the drivers side wheel well.
4. Remove both front wheels.
5. Place a pan under the rack and disconnect the PS lines.
6. Remove the strap that hold the lines to the rack.
7. If your car is a stick shift remove the control rod and the extension bar from the transmission.
8. Separate the tie rod ends from the steering knuckle.
9. Remove the nuts from the U shaped rack brackets.
10.Pull the rack away from the firewall. Have a friend pull up the shaft from inside the car to get it off the input shaft.
11. Remove the entire assembly from the left wheel well.
