I had to put air in my spare to get the light to go out. Never found a reset button that some people say is underneath the steering wheel.
You would need to reset the on-board computer if it does not automatically reset when the malfunction itself is corrected.

You have to hold the tire pressure button down until the light starts flashing, after 5 seconds press the button again( do not hold it). This will reset the system, and recalibrate it to the new tires
