I have a 1993 GMC sonoma truck that came with a digital instrument panel and i want to change to a standard panel. can this be done without changeing the wire harness or plug.
It is practically impossible to reach up behind the dash to change the bulbs. Remove the trim around the instrument panal and you should be able to pull it out enough to change the bulbs. You may have to disconnect the speedometer to get it out far enough.
The tripmeter knob located near the odometer on the instrument panal can be rotated left or right to accomplish this.
Heres how you replace the instrument lights on the Estima . 1 st remove the surround for the heater controls in the middle of the dash board, this can be done by carefully lifting it off with a screw driver, as the surround is held in place by 4 clips. 2nd open both front doors, were the dash board meets the front door pillars prize the edge of the dash off , as with the heater surround it is held in with clips , pull off the front of the dash board, once you have removed the dash board you now have the instrument panel exposed. The insrument panal is held in with 4 screws undo these and the panal will fall forward, there is plenty of cable on the back of the instrument panal so it can be pulled right out and this will expose the instrument bulbs on the back. Good luck.
yes if you change the slam panal front wings headlights and the bonnet lol
Control Panal
remove steering wheel .remove panel above foot pedles .from behind and underneath push out panal un screw speedo cabel un plug wires and will slide out
This is a unclear question, and not easy to answer. In your fuse panal, their will be a range of fuses, from 5 amp, up to 30 amp. On your fuse panal cover, should be a digram of your fuse panal, and which amp fuse goes into which slot.
pull off door panal, theres 2 or three screws you have to remove, and if its manual windows pop the arm off then it just comes down to poping the plastic clips that hold the panal on. speaker just has two wires to it and is real easy to disconnect and install
MAKE SURE HEADLIGHTS ARE OFF!! the low beam headlite. pass side go to the pass side wheel well. there is a panal there (look towards the front of car) unscrew the panal and remove. take bulb out, replace bulb. put the panel back on.
yes
your momma can do it for you
Pull the instrument panal, the bulbs should be obvious, small bases that quarter turn and pull out. Bulbs pull out of bases.
