The microphone glasses are a common item in poptropica. If you are in any of the public places, (like the hair club on spy island) and you see someone wearing it, just click the "customizer" button (in the top right - hand corner of your screen, and click on the character. It will then show a big blue screen with you and the other character on it. Then you click on the items they are wearing to make them appear on yourself.
