You may or may not be able to retrieve the codes with the ignition switch. * Turn the ignition key ON,OFF,ON,OFF,and finally ON again(ENGINE NOT RUNNING) * The codes will start to flash on the POWER LOSS or CHECK ENGINE light. * FLASH,pause,FLASH,FLASH=code 12 is an example. * If this does not work you will need an OBD2 scan tool. * Some auto parts store will scan if free.

How do you check for flash codes without a scan tool?

If your vehicle is 1995 or later, you must use an OBDII scanner to retrieve the trouble codes. Fortunately, there are auto parts stores that will scan free of charge. If your vehicle is pre-1995, you can try your local public library to see if there is a repair manual (Haynes or Chilton) for your vehicle available for checkout. In the manual you will find full instructions on how to retrieve the codes without a scanner and what each code means.

Is there a way to read check engine light codes on a 2004 Kia Sedona without a scan tool?

Unfortunately, the only way to retrieve trouble codes after 1995 is with the OBDII scanner. The good news is that there are some auto parts stores that will scan it for you free of charge. Or, you can buy a simple OBDII scanner for about $60.

I have a 2002 Chrysler Concorde with a 2.6L engine. What size pop up trailer could I pull with this size car and engine?

There is no 2.6 engine available in Chryslers in 2002. The engine you're referring to is the 2.7. And, since it is possibly the worst engine that Chrysler ever produced, and it can barely pull the car itself without troubles, I wouldn't suggest pulling anything else with it.
