In the 1950s, most girls (as opposed to women) just wore lipstick and pressed powder. For the real Fifties look, try to get pressed powder with a pink cast to it. If you wore blush and eye makeup at all, you kept it really subtle. Women would add really light blush and eye makeup.
Lipstick was either pastel or bright red. Lilac was a popular color.
