At one point in The Bible, God cursed the people, this made them speak different languages which probably changed their skin color as well.

See that answer is just ridiculous. When they began the building of the tower of Babel it wasn't much longer after the Great Flood. They were pretty much centralized around modern day Jordan to modern day Turkey. God cursed them, changing their languages. The bible then says they gathered with each other that they could understand. So that is when they language groups were established. Then they began to spread across the land and warred with each other making countries and provinces. Over time their appearances changed according to where they lived. For example if you took a white person and moved them to central Africa where the sun is extremely intense, after a few generations the skin tone will start to darken.

Not being racist, likewise African Americans are getting much lighter than they were back in the late 1700's when they first got here. It is all about the sun exposure that changes appearance. You never see a native Russian that is brown, or you never see pale white person in Africa.

On to the physical features. A person's language can change someones shape of their jaw and other features to which I'm not sure. Take Scottish or Irish people for example. Very little tongue, and don't open their mouths very much to talk. This lack of use of the upper lip causes their mouths to be relaxed. If you notice, it almost has a curve out away from their mouths. This and other languages such as Asians depend heavily upon the pitch of the word. About 90% of Asians are perfect pitch (ability to identify a note specifically) as opposed to Americans 3%.

Languages such English and German are very guttural and require much more tongue and much more of the upper lip. This causes our lips to be more tense and we are able to say the word "r" as opposed to Asians who have never used that motion with just the two sides of the tongue to say it.

As for the eyes and the brows which do differ greatly. This is just speculation because I'm not certain on this adaptation, but I assume that the reason most black people have brown and darker eyes is because of again the sun exposure. The darker it is the brighter the light it can take. Europeans have mostly light brown, and blue eyes. Go to the extremely cold areas such as Russia and they have blue and green. Asians tend to have brown and green. There is a very big correlation between location and color of eye.

The Adam and Eve story is just that -- a story! It's not true. It was written thousands of years ago when no one really knew how humans came to be. So, they just said that God created the first two humans. We know today that this is simply a part of an ancient religion and a very popular story.

The truth is: humans evolved from other primates. Over the course of millions of years, they gradually changed. Depending on the area they lived, they took on characteristics to help them survive better. Darker skin was better for those who lived in equatorial regions; lighter skin was better for those who lived in the northern latitudes. Even blue eyes became a trait that made it easier for those who lived in northern climates to see better during long months of darkness.

Do an internet search for "human evolution" and learn more.

If you believe the Bible, then whatever I state here would benefit you. If not, then this is all mumbo jumbo and can be discarded:

After disembarking from the ark, GENESIS 11 gives us the account - after the flood, where the whole earth had 1 language and as they travelled east found fertile land in Shinar (modern day Iraq). It was decided that they would dwell there. To cut a long story short, they built a tower with the aim of reaching heaven (which although was a noble intention, was against what God had wanted - After the flood, God wanted them to multiply and replenish/refill the earth - GEN 9:1). So God confounded their language, resulting in confusion and ultimately abandonment of their building project. In this way, God was able to scatter them to fulfil His purpose (GEN 11:9). The place was aptly named "Babel" meaning "confusion". It is here, the world population then was forcefully scattered and split up into different races.

It is interesting to note that almost every civilization on the planet has some myth/folklore involving a disastrous flood.

Eurocentric portrayals of Adam and Eve do show them as white Caucasians, but if the ealry Hebrews thought about it at all, they would have imagined them to be brown like themselves. Neither of these views matters in a question on anthropology, which this is, because to answer this we need to ask the sciences.

The scientific answer is that the first people were not Adam and Eve, living somewhere around the Middle East just 6000 years ago, but people who lived in southern or eastern Africa over 200,000 years ago. Our ancestors were all black.

After the early humans migrated into Europe, the black skin that protected them from the hot sun of Africa was now a disadvantage, because they could not produce enough vitamin D from the weak northern sunlight. The people in Europe gradually evolved lighter skin which absorbs more ultraviolet rays and therefore allows us to produce vitamin D more readily.

A:If you want a reasoned answer, Adam and Eve's children could not have formed different races.

If the Bible story of Adam and Eve is true, and if the story of Noah is true, then every one alive today must be descended from Noah, who lived around a thousand years after Adam. So all the races on earth must have evolved in just the last five thousand years, since the time of Noah. Against this is the incontrovertible evidence that the Australian Aborigines were already in Australia and isolated from the rest of the world around fifty thousand years ago. The Australian Aborigines are just one race that could not have come from either Adam and Eve or from Noah.

There was no Adam and Eve. Man is the result of millions of years of evolution.

Why does Jewish history not begin with the story of Adam and Eve?

Because, during the days of creation, there were no races, or people of different color. The history of the Jewish people didn't begin until after the twelve sons of Jacob were designated as the Nation of Israel. The Jews as they are called today, were of the Jacobs son Judah. Therefore, there was no Jewish history during Adam and Eve, or before.
