The Battle of Quebec was the last battle in the French and Indian War. Because the British won this battle, they won the war. Quebec was an important fort for the French, therefore it probably had a lot of supplies in it, which the British now had. Also, the French used the Saint Lawrence River a lot for trade and shipping. That river, which was below Quebec and Montreal, was now in England's control. This would have been a serious blow to the French.
