With respect to the leadership: After the death of Bahá'u'lláh (the founder) in 1892, the Bahá'à Faith was left in charge of his son, 'Abdu'l-Bahá. Upon his death in 1921, leadership of the Bahá'à Faith passed to 'Abdul-Bahá's grandson, Shoghi Effendi. Nowadays, the leadership is the Universal House of Justice, elected every 5 years.
With respect to the community, the Bahá'à Faith continues growing in numbers.
