The Jay Treaty really brought one crucial benefit which was that all of the military outposts controlled by British forces be dismantled and eliminated. Once the outposts were eliminated, many Americans flooded into the North West Territory and proved to be a crucial place for urbanization. The Jay Treaty was not all great though: 1. America was very limited in trade in the British controlled West Indies which was at the time one of the largest trading areas in the world. 2. America did not ever receive compensation for the slaves that were stolen during the American revolution and an incredible amount of money was lost. 3. Although the outposts were cleared out the British still had naval vessels on the Great Lakes. 4. The Americans were unable to secure British recognition of neutral trading ships. So you decide if it was really good or bad for America BITCHEZ
One positive outcome of Jay's Treaty is that it led to the withdrawal of British forces in the Northwest Territory. Another positive outcome is that it led to a decade's worth of more or less peaceful trade between America and Britain.
