He wanted to reform corrupt practices and question traditions that seemed without basis.

Catholic AnswerM. Luther's thoughts about the Catholic Church are contained in the 95 Theses, an English translation of which I have attached below. As M. Luther was (supposedly) a priest, an Augustinian Friar, and a Theology professor, one could hope that what he thought about the beliefs of the Catholic Church were pretty much what is taught in the Catholic Church throughout history. However, as his "95 Theses" show, he was incredibly ignorant about basic teachings of the faith. Some of what he calls for is totally ludicrous as it is what the Church has always taught - they could come right out of a Theology book. Others are just off the wall. Admittedly, he was calling for refutation of what (he said) others were preaching, but even then, it just doesn't make a lot of sense. He should have known better. What he believed about the Church and what he came to believe about the Church many years later are two completely different things. In the beginning he was calling for a reform of indulgences, which was actually quite sensible giving the goings on back then of some people; however, later in life he completely denies indulgences, or even the power of the keys - something which he held firmly in his earlier years. The Catholic Church sold indulgences in the late medieval period, and their sale motivated Martin Luther to present his "95 Theses." Martin Luther: German monk who questioned the leadership and theology of the Catholic Church in 1517. His questions provided the basis for the Protestant Reformation.
the relationship was suppose to be sexual but he realized he couldn't f**k a church

They felt proud that he spoke up and said those things he needed to say. Martin Luther King Jr. is a great preacher. :)
According to all accounts the name on Martin Luther King's birth certificate is Michael and there is no evidence that he changed it. however According to Africana.com, Martin Luther King, Sr. said that his son's given name was Martin Luther but that the doctor who delivered him put "Michael" on the birth certificate, something he didn't know until much later until adultdhood
Dissiponted He faut for freedom and now he is dead
A:Martin Luther believed that the papacy needed to be reformed if corruption were to be eliminated from within the Catholic Church.
The Catholic Church was founded by Jesus Christ. The Lutheran Church was founded by Martin Luther, a mere man. The Catholics feel they have kept the teachings and traditions passed down to us intact while Luther picked and chose what his church would follow, tossing out those articles of faith he had a personal disagreement with.
Martin Luther believed that the body and blood of Christ really was present in the bread and wine of the sacrament.

Obviously you will get different answers to this. I say the Catholic Church is because it dates back to the time of Christ and includes the full revelation of Christ. To assert that any of the Protestant Churches are is to assert that God abandoned mankind for 1563 years till Martin Luther came on the scene (Martin Luther, was, by the way, a Catholic priest).Answer:No one that attends a Protestant Church thinks that God abandoned Mankind. No one Catholic or Protestant believes that God abandoned mankind before Christ came, why would the Protestants start now? The 95 Thesis that Martin Luther posted were issues that He had with the Catholic Church, which most of which were things being taught as truth that were not scriptural, but hey, how would the people know, the Bible was only Translated into Latin, and only the priest were trained in Latin. It took him being trained as a Catholic Priest to see what was going on. There is something to be said about a church that lies to people to make money. Lutherr knew this. I think someone needs to go back and re-read Martin Luther's 95 Thesis and double check to see if his greivances are founded by double checking the Bible. I think what the other person who answered fails to see is that the issue is not the Catholic Church but the corrupt people that were running it at the time, and that those people who left the Catholic Church left because of those reasons. They also fail to see that God can and does give people decernment to see if what is going on is wrong or right and give them the courage to nail the sins of those equal and above him to the door of the church where everyone could read it. The answer to this question is not one that anyone here can answer. I can't and the person who answered before me can't, even though they tried. What you need to do is pray. Pray for deceernment, have God show you whay church is right for you. If that is the Catholic Church, so be it, Protestant, so be it. It isn't for me or the other person who poseted to decide and our opinions should not affect which church you feel is right for you. It's gotta be a God thing. HE IS THE ONLY ONE AND THE ONLY WAY TO ANSWER THIS QUESTION.
