How do you adjust a 1998 Nissan 200sx clutch?

I have replaced the the clutch cable on my '95 200sx 1.6L and it was easy. To adjust the cable go to the end of the cable where it conects to the level looking clutch arm in the engine compartment and look at where the clutch cable connects to the lever. Securing the cable on the backside of the lever there is a washer and screw that you can tighten or loosen to engage the clutch without pushing it all the way to the floor or you can adjust the other way to get the opposite affect. After I installed my clutch cable I had to go back about a week later and adjust the clutch (tighten the cable) because it appeared the cable had stretch a little from brand new to broken in condition. Hope this helps...

How do you change a camshaft sensor on 03 dodge 2500 hemi?

Look behind the alternator. It is held only by one 10mm bolt. Disconnect the cam sensor, then remove the 10mm bolt and pull up on the sensor. It should come right out. Take a rag and clean out the are where the sensor goes in. A quick wipe should do. Push in the new sensor and tighten the 10mm back in place. Connect the harness back, male sure the connector it plug all the way in. Connect the negative cable back to your battery and your done. Took me less than 5 minutes.

Change the knock sensor on a 300zx?

1.) Purchase new knock sensor& cable2.) On top of the plenum next to the throttle and ASCD cables there will be a connector that looks exactly like the mating end of your new cable; disconnect the old cable and connect the new one. (The knock sensor is located about 8" below the plenum itself so the only way to get to it is by either removing the plenum and everything attached to it or by pulling the motor and getting at it from the rear [firewall side]). However, you can relocate the sensor on top of the motor as long as it is SOLIDLY mounted to the engine itself. No zip ties or something silly like that.

How do you replace a positive battery cable on a 2000 Chevy blazer and where can you obtain the cable other than the dealer?

You Will Need To Get The Cable From A Dealer. If The Cable Is Burned Into Ect. It Will Need To Be Replaced. If The Cable End Is Bad You Can Try This. Purchase a New Cable End. Yours Probably Has Two Smaller Cables In The Wire Also Besides The Regular One. On The Cable End You Get Also Get One Or Two ( as needed ) Heavy Duty Cable Eyletts That Fit The Bolts That Tighten The Large Cable To The Terminal End. Put The Small Cables On each Side Of The Bolts That Clamp This Down, Tighten It All Down. Should Work OK. I Have Done This Often. If You Do It This Way. You Will Need To Check These Connections Every 3 Months Or So To Be Sure They Are OK.

What is wrong with a Cadillac CTS 2007 when it will crank but will not run?

Looking up from below the engine the sensor is located about half way up above the catalytic converter. Look for a black cable and follow it into the side of the engine block. (finding it is the easy part). To get a wrench on to the end of the sensor I had to drop the catalytic converter off it's mounting bracket . You can unscrew the sensor and follow the cable back up through the engine compartment. The end of the sensor is located behind the engine block, there are several other electrical connections in the area. Look at the number on the cable to type of cable and disconnect the cable. Plug in the cable and try and follow the same route back to the side of the engine, reposition the new sensor. I( had to reroute the cable as it was a pain to follow the same cable in the car). If you have the car on blocks you can check the sensor. Turn the engine on if it cranks your on your way. If not you may have the wrong connection behind the engine block. If the engine turned over your OK. Note :I had a very difficult job trying to remount the catalytic converter because the mounting studs interfere with the bracket. I cut the studs down with a hacksaw just enough to slide the bracket back on. Hope this helps Mick Richmond VA
