Use security settings for your wireless network, such as SSID hiding, and wireless encryption. It's better if you use WPA AES at least, but WPA-PSK2 AES is better. You can use also MAC filter. But if you have WPA-PSK2 AES you do not need to because it's almost impossible to crack the encryption.
You set a password off the settings of your router
A person does not need a website to find unsecured wireless networks in an area. Just opening the Wireless Network Connection page on a laptop will show the wireless networks that are in range. If there is no closed lock next to the name of the network, then it is not secure.
pleese!! some one tell me what is jacksons number lock on his locker on miley's wireless quest!!!
The function of a wireless access point is to allow wireless devices such as projectors, laptops and PDAs to access a local area network. Wireless access points mainly act as switches to spread connections wirelessly. The difference between an access point and a router is that access points do not assign IP addresses nor do they have firewalls; they only lock out traffic that does not have the wireless key.
You search for the combination at the school , and you go to the lock and unlock .
Yep. Go into the router and click on the "Wireless" menu and disable "Wireless SSID Broadcast". It will be harder for others to see you then. But you will have to log into your wireless network every time instead of automatically as your computer won't be be able to see it now. If all your wireless items are one band (b, g or n) then just use that mode and then any one with the older "bands" can't get on. Go to WPA Personal. You can go to Linksys.com, Belkin.com, etc and read up on the "how to" that best fits you. You might try your routers company website and look it up there. Linksys has real good info.
It is not for any specific year or model. It has yet to be configured to fit a particular lock.

The installation program of GstarCAD network version and stand-alone version is completely the same, but to select stand-alone version or network version according to authorization methods on installing. If you install the stand-alone version when you use network lock, you can only use 30 days as installing the trial version. When you use stand-alone lock, it is not necessary to install lock drive if you use USB lock, but necessary if system (WIN98, etc.) can' t identify USB interface. Network lock is parallel lock or USB lock. Select network version when installing GstarCAD at customer end. If network lock installs normally, setting is not necessary at customer end. If there are two or more network locks in one network, it is better to setup the locks in different computer and then set the name and IP address of the computer onto which set the network lock at customers' end.
